ABOUT ME
Oh, but there's so much to tell!
I have written professionally for what we will call "a long, long time." And let's just leave it at that.
The majority of my paying jobs are national consumer, trade and member publications, as well as online copy, and I love them all. No subject is off limits, except for those in poor taste, and I thrive on tight deadlines, even around the holidays. (Just ask . . . never mind; no names here. Just know that this angel earned her wings in December 2009.)
No sappy stories about my first Selectric typewriter, the fun days at the college newspaper, or my childhood dreams of being paid to write. Those stories certainly exist, but they don't pay the bills, and nobody really cares anyway.
The bottom line is this: I enjoy what I do and can't imagine doing anything else. I've managed to make the move back and forth between my first love of traditional print (sigh) and the it's-not-going-away website copy. I appreciate them both, and I look forward to diversifying even more in 2010.
